A Safe Space for Self-Injury Support is committed to increasing mental health knowledge, confidence, and support within our community. We host educational opportunities designed to help individuals recognize mental health concerns, respond with compassion, and connect people with appropriate support.
Adult Mental Health First Aid teaches adults how to recognize and respond to signs of mental health or substance use challenges in other adults.
Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches adults how to recognize and respond to mental health or substance use challenges in young people.
Both courses provide practical skills for offering initial support and helping connect someone with appropriate resources.
