At A Safe Space for Self-Injury Support, our mission is to provide a safe, compassionate and non-judgmental environment for individuals affected by self-injury. We offer separate, dedicated support groups for teens and adults to ensure that participants receive age appropriate support and understanding.
Through our groups, we focus on fostering emotional growth, building self-esteem and offering participants a wide variety of practical coping skills. These include art, journaling, mindfulness, relaxation techniques and other creative outlets for self-expression and emotional regulation.

Please be advised that this is a peer support group, not a therapy group. Our group is facilitated by an individual with lived experience rather than a licensed professional. Due to the complex nature of self-injury, participation in this group requires that all members are either in therapy or under the care of a medical professional. This support group is intended to be one component of a comprehensive recovery plan.
